Chem Free Fluid Recycling

While somewhat obscure to wastewater recycling, using ozone or O3 is not new to water treatment. Used in Europe to purify municipal drinking water since the turn of the twentieth century, ozone use now extends from swimming pools to bottled water plants and food processing applications.

Ozone is a naturally occurring gas and is one of the most powerful oxidizers commercially available. Ozone effectively oxidizes a variety of waterborne contaminants without leaving an undesirable residue. Ozone does not increase total dissolved solids (TDS) levels and does not cause radical shifts in pH. Ozone is used to achieve a number of treatment goals, including disinfection, oxidation of inorganic contaminants such as iron and manganese, and oxidation of organic micropollutants.

Chem Free recycling systems have shown proven value in recycling water, cooling and machining fluids, saving its clients thousands to tens of thousands per month.

Coolant Recycling

Serving the automotive wheel and the aerospace industry since 1997. Companies such as American racing, Edelbrock, and Ultra Wheel are serious about extending tool life, controlling odor from bacteria growth. and significant cost savings.

Disinfection

Broadly defined as the inactivation of bacteria, viruses and parasites, Ozone very effectively eliminates many of these contaminants. E.Coli, Staphylococcus, Legionella pneumophila, and protozoa Giardia and Cryptosporidium are examples of microorganisms that are oxidizable by Ozone.

Oxidation of Inorganics

Ozone is commonly used to remove ferrous compounds and manganese from water. The problems normally associated with the presence of these metals are more aesthetic than health related. However, standards have been established for both in their soluble states because the growth of iron- and manganese-oxidizing bacteria can cause a deterioration of overall water quality.

Proven money saver

By recycling machine coolant American Racing's wheel production line has reduced the overall cost of using machine coolant, reduced machine downtime, improved tool life and improved product quality. It has also improved worker health and safety and minimized enviromental impact.

This is 1 of 4 systems purchased by the Ultra Wheel Corp. This system treats 300 gallons in 15 minutes.
